Project Approach

Our guiding principle is the recognition that each and every issue is intricately linked with host of other issues and an isolated solution will not suffice. Our recommendations will be optimal and holistic -balancing special needs within a broader context of robustness, adaptability, and sustainability. The following outlines our general methodology:

Statement of Work
Our Project Management team ensures that all conditions, obligations, and expectations between Info-Toad Consulting and the client are understood and agreed upon.

Kick-Off Meeting
Determine and document objectives for the project, thereby establishing roles, responsibilities and timelines within a comprehensive project plan. Review and revise the statement of work, if necessary.

Project Planning
Review with the client our deployment strategy, explaining the technology intended and its compatibility with technology already in place.

Design
Establish functional requirements and overall architectural design specifications.

Iterative Development
Divide project objectives into smaller units, each achievable in a few days.

(An iterative, or 'step by step', approach produces tangible results earlier in the process. These results are then handed over to the test community, which, in turn, provides valuable feedback for the next iteration. Thus, the quality assurance team is integral throughout the development process rather than a 'hoop' to jump through at the end.)

Migration
Plan rollouts based on client's business policy, making decisions as to whether the new systems should be run in parallel with the systems in place or whether legacy data should be converted before migration.

(It is an important indicator that users assume they do not need to run the new systems in parallel with the old, regardless of the decision to have a parallel phase.)

Training
Conduct custom training clients' staff. Review installation, setup, daily processes, reporting, and application specifics. Conduct training on the verification of data and custom system settings, and conduct skills assessment.

Post Migration
Validate system configuration and data conversion. Complete post migration setup and daily activity.

Maintenance
Project Management Team to transfer of Knowledge-base to client assigned technical team.
